The Queensland Family and Child Commission (QFCC) has released a new suite of resources to support organisations implementing the Child Safe Organisations Act 2024, marking another important milestone in Queensland’s child safety reform agenda. Our Centre is a recipient of funding as part of the VIC Government’s Free KinderProgram. Eligible children aged three years and above will receive up to $2101 inadditional subsidies to reduce your out-of-pocket fees. Children arrive with engaging experiences set up for them and their friends of different ages to play with together, supporting collaboration and communication across age groups.
These parent payments are vital to our students, and ensure the adequate resourcing of our classrooms. The federal Child Care Subsidy (CCS) reduces out-of-pocket childcare costs for most families based on income, recognised participation and hours of care. Free Kinder is a separate Victorian Government program that provides additional fee relief for eligible children aged 3 and 4, on top of any CCS you already receive.
