We will provide Substance abuse treatment for clients that have Co-Occuring problems (Mental health + substance abuse). Many people never get the chance to speak with a behavioral health specialist. We remove these barriers by providing behavioral health specialists on our primary care teams. Certain mental health facilities in Kentucky are considered luxury or upscale. These facilities may offer luxurious treatment along with mental health services, although they are also more expensive than non-luxury clinics.

Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy, commonly known as EMDR, is a mental health therapy method. EMDR treats mental health conditions that happen because of memories from traumatic events in your past.

Kristy’s primary interest is in mood and anxiety disorders, but has extensive knowledge and experience treating depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and substance abuse. She provides care for a wide range of age groups, treating school aged children through geriatric adults. Kristy is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. She is an alumnus of the University of Kentucky with a long history of interest in the field of mental health, obtaining her very first bachelor’s degree in psychology.
