FiRST understands the importance of the child’s first 5 years being the most important in a child’s life, for learning and development. Our passionate and caring team consists of early childhood teachers, lead educators, and educators who create a warm and supportive learning environment. Among them is Lisa, our beloved Educational Leader and experienced Early Childhood Teacher (ECT). Located in the heart of the Cardinia Lakes community, our service offers high quality education and care to children 6 weeks to school age.
The educators recognise that every child is unique and that they bring their own needs, interests and strengths with them each day. The program is designed to be flexible to cater to pakenham early learning these differing needs, ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive at Goodstart. Through trust and mutual respect, we build meaningful relationships which connect families, children, educators and the community.

Music education has been shown to enhance brain development, especially in language and math skills. At ELJ, our music program helps children develop rhythm, coordination, and self-expression through interactive musical activities. Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, each of our centres are designed to ignite a child’s imagination. We believe children are active and capable members of our community, and seek to stimulate their curiosity, encourage exploration, and promote expression. Thanks to the  chef at our Officer child care centre, your child can expect healthy, nutritious, and yummy meals.
Meals are freshly prepared in-house daily, ensuring your child receives nutritious and delicious food. We support and celebrate diversity of race, culture, ability, gender, sexuality, and gender identity. Cire would like to acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land and waterways where we work, meet, and play. We acknowledge the rich culture of our First Nations people and pay our respects to Elders past and present. Goodstart Early Learning acknowledges all Traditional Custodians across Australia and recognises First Nations peoples’ continued cultural and spiritual connection to the land, sky and waterways that surround us.

Little Stars Early Learning & Kindergarten Pakenham is operated by Little Stars Pakenham Pty Ltd ATF Little Stars Pakenham Trust, which contributes 0% to the total available child care capacity in Victoria. Little Stars Early Learning & Kindergarten Pakenham provides centre-based care for up to 100 approved spaces. Through these guiding principles, we aim to create a rich, supportive environment where every child can thrive.

It is our continued mission and vision to provide an educational, learning and home away from home nurturing environment for all children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. Our thoughtfully designed learning rooms—from Babies to Kinder—encourage exploration, independence, and emotional growth. Each space is tailored to support children’s developmental milestones, offering engaging, hands-on experiences that spark curiosity and build confidence. The 4/5 year old Discovery Program is a government-recognised kindergarten program. As part of the program, children join the Early Explorers (bush kinder) spend three hours of uninterrupted play on College grounds, using what nature has provided as learning materials.

Story House’s  nature play program encourages children to explore the environment through sand, water, plants, and wildlife. Integrated into our Pathways to School curriculum, it builds curiosity and care for nature—supporting children to become strong, capable, independent, and thoughtful learners for life. Our program builds life skills through daily routines that promote problem-solving, communication, independence, and teamwork. With a strong focus on mental and physical wellbeing, children engage in mindfulness, healthy eating, and active play.
