The band’s demos for this seminal album are issued on vinyl for the first time in specially-commissioned sleeve artwork which resembles a cassette inlay. The LP includes the original demos of the classic singles “The Drowners” and “Metal Mickey”, as well as the album tracks “Pantomime Horse”, “Sleeping Pills” and “He’s Dead”, plus B-side “To The Birds”. Also featured are the outtake “Diesel” and the rehearsal room recording “Stars On 45”. With his 1981 solo debut album The Red and the Black, Jerry Harrison proves his formidable talent as a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter. Dense, abrasive and focused, The Red and the Black’s complex and funky musical style was ahead of its time.
For a while, he returned to the rock scene, with a then little-known band called The Beatles as his opening act at one point. Even during those days, he retained an interest in Bible study, with John Lennon recalling Penniman backstage at a concert reading the Scriptures. Easter Seals Camp Fairlee addresses the need for an accessible, traditional summer camp experience for children and adults with all types of disabilities. Located on 250 acres near Chestertown, camp activities include campfire sing-alongs, high ropes course, rock wall, swimming pool, canoeing, nature walks, arts and crafts, horseback riding and more. Camp Fairlee Manor provides a summer camp experience for participants while often providing respite for parents/caregivers. Students taking this camp will use basic improv exercises, stand-up comedy techniques and scene work to learn how to write and create an original comedy show. This two-week camp culminates in a performance by the young actors in the style of Second City and Saturday Night Live. All participants join together at the end of the week for a culminating concert featuring chamber music and a large bass orchestra. This past summer, she got the opportunity to perform as a dance extra in a music video for Australian artist, Yanni Burton. Emily is now auditioning for cruise lines, NBA dance teams, and other exciting performance opportunities! She is excited to eventually move to Atlanta where she can fully commit to being a performer. Emily also enjoys teaching The Music Dept Recording Studio on the side so she may shed her knowledge and passion to the younger generations. School of Rock Silver Spring offers beginner bass guitar lessons for kids that blend weekly private instruction with weekly band rehearsals. This performance-based approach results in a high level of musical proficiency because it engages and inspires students.

Adventure ropes course is composed of over 50 elements, including low ropes team-building challenges, climbing walls, wire bridges, aerial obstacles and zip lines. Activities also include swimming, boating, fishing, archery, arts and crafts and horseback riding. Three weeklong workshops — the Middle School Experience in Leadership, the Senior High Workshop and the Advanced Leadership Seminar — develop skills to help students excel as leaders in their schools and communities. Through innovative leadership activities and engaging group challenges, students interact with both peers and staff while developing a unique leadership style.
