Complete beginners looking to learn the basics of drawing, painting, or sculpting. After 17 incredible years of success, Art Est Art School has closed its doors. Art Est Art School has succumbed  to the pressures that have impacted many galleries, art schools and other creative businesses in the past couple of years. The business has struggled since we relocated due to higher costs, including overheads, materials etc, and a softening economy making it harder to fill and maintain classes.

Elinor Pickard is a practising artist and a painter with drawing at the centre of her practice. She has a BA Visual Arts and Grad Dip from Sydney College of the Arts. In this Drawing Course, you will learn how to observe objects for drawing and be taught how to simplify different forms and structures with proportion and composition. We will look at how we can create an illusion of space by applying negative space and perspective and explore how to draw realistically.
